Weston Cheer: Small, but Mighty
Now that football season has started at Weston High School, the Weston Cheer Team is pumped and ready to support the program. These past few weeks they went to support the Trojans at two home and away games. Fortunately, we were able to hear what they had to say about this upcoming season.
Captain Stephanie Field, says: “We’re a small, but mighty team, that always performs to the best of our ability, compensating our lack of members with great spirit.”
The team only has five girls, but that does not mean they are lowering the bar. In fact, Captain Christiane Lapalme states: “This season we’re aiming high, just like our stunts. The hard work we’ve been putting into our practices has been paying off in cheers, routines, and the spirit we bring to every game.”
We are excited to see what the girls have in store for us during the 2022-2023 football season. Both the cheer and football teams would strongly appreciate all the support they can get at home and away games. Information on game times and location is located on the Weston Public Schools homepage. Good luck, girls!
